Turkey are huge outsiders to win next years Euro 2020 despite defeating World Champions France during the qualification phase.

Senol Gunes’ side finished Group H in second place despite beating and holding France to a draw over the course of their two head-to-head encounters.

The bookmakers have set odds of 100/1 for Turkey to win the tournament making them huge outsiders for Euro 2020.

Senol Gunes’ side missed the chance to top Group H after being held to a 0-0 draw by Iceland last week.

Leicester City star Caglar Soyuncu has played a major role for his national team over the qualification campaign.

The combative defender established himself as one of the Premier League’s best centre-backs this season.

The Red-Whites conceded just three goals in 10 games keeping a total of seven clean sheets.

Turkey have an abundance of quality defenders heading into the Euros including 21-year-old Juventus ace Merih Demiral, 19-year-old Schalke rising star Ozan Kabak, Roma defender Mert Cetin, Fortuna Dusseldorf’s Kaan Ayhan as centre-backs.

Additionally, the Crescent-Stars also have an impressive full-back roster with Lille’s Mehmet Zeki Celik and Le Havre’s Umut Meras.

Senol Gunes will be hoping to improve his attacking options over the next 9 months.

Cengiz Under aside, Turkey have looked toothless in attack with an aging Burak Yilmaz and out-of-form Cenk Tosun leading the line.

Turkey head into the tournament as dark horses. Keep a close eye on the Crescent-Stars they are going to be very difficult to defeat.
