However, the win comes at a cost. Several key players face suspension for the upcoming match. Orkun Kokcu and Ismail Yuksek are definitely out after picking up bookings against Austria, leaving midfield options thin.

Additionally, Merih Demiral, who scored both goals for Turkey, is under investigation for a possible political gesture during his celebration. This could potentially rule him out of the crucial quarter-final.

Despite the setbacks, reinforcements are on the horizon. Captain Hakan Calhangolu and defender Samet Akaydin return from suspension and will be available to face the Dutch.

Calhanoglu scored in the 2-1 win over Austria and his return will be a welcome additional to the team.

Arda Guler is fit as is Kenan Yildiz and both are likely to start. Guler has been in impressive form and provided an assist in victory over Austria.

Turkey need to be careful against the Dutch as several players are one booking away from picking up a suspension if they reach the semi-finals.

Kokcu was actually born in the Netherlands as was Ferdi Kadioglu who is almost certain to start.
