The Turkish national team rose a record 16 places to 26th place.

Turkey’s young national team, boasting an average age of 25.8 (second youngest in the tournament), reached the last eight in Europe, earning praise from fans worldwide.

Long Awaited Success
This achievement marks a significant turnaround after failing to progress beyond the group stages in Euro 2020 and 2016.
In Euro 2016, Turkey managed only 3 points and 1 goal, while Euro 2020 saw them exit without a single point or goal scored.
Historic Performance
Euro 2024 saw Turkey secure 3 wins for the first time in the competition’s history, surpassing their performance in the Euro 2008 semi-final run.
Turkey were one of the most exciting teams in the tournament this summer with star players Arda Guler, Ferdi Kadioglu and Baris Alper Yilmaz all excelling.
