Turkish champions Besiktas are prepared to offer Chelsea a way around their Diego Costa problem.

Everton striker Romelu Lukaku has been closely linked with a return to Chelsea this summer.

The Blues has made it clear to Chelsea that he wants the player at any cost.

The main stumbling block complicating maters is Costa still being on the books.

The Mirror reports that Conte is throwing a spanner in the works of the Blues plans to re-sign Lukaku by not having found another club yet.

Costa was expected to move to China but a far-eastern adventure looks off the cards.

The Spanish international is keen on a return to Atletico Madrid.

In fact the La Liga outfit are prepared to offer £22 million for their former striker.

There is however, one major problem. Costa would have to sit out six-months due to Atleti’s transfer ban restricting the club from registering new players.

Turkish daily Haberturk claim that Besiktas are keen on taking Costa on for one-season and covering his wages.

The 28-year-old would then be able to complete his move to Atleti without having to waste a season.

Per the source, the Black Eagles would also be keen on a permanent deal for the right price.

The Istanbul giants have good relations with Costa and Chelsea.

Besiktas would have actually signed the striker in 2011 but he picked up an injury which derailed the move.

The Eagles also work closely with football agent Ahmet Bulut who close ties to Gestifute.

Bulut was involved in brokering Pepe’s transfer to Besiktas and Quaremsa who is also a client of the management company.

Costa does have another two-years remaining on his current contract and played a key role in the Blues lifting the Premier League title last season.
