Turkish giants want €15m for Arsenal target Oguzhan Ozyakup also being scouted by Man United

Besiktas value Oguzhan Ozyakup as being valued at €15 million a source close to the club revealed to Turkish-Football.

The Black Eagles are happy with Ozyakup’s performance this season but with 18-months remaining on his current deal and no contract extension offer yet on the table the club are gearing up to the possibility of a suffer exit.

Arsenal scout Jurgen Kost was quoted by Turkish-Football as saying the North London club are keeping tabs on Ozyakup and that he could end up returning to the club.

Ozyakup did of course first make a name for himself in the Arsenal academy, joining from Dutch side AZ Alkmaar.

The 24-year-old left Arsenal for Besiktas in 2012 in pursuit of first team football.

Ozyakup went onto become a star player at the Istanbul giants and played an integral role in winning the league title last season.

The source close to the player also revealed that Ozyakup has attracted interest from rival Premier League sides including Manchester United who have been scouting his progress.

Besiktas are currently 4th in the Turkish league, four points clear of their nearest rivals Basaksehir.

The Eagles are 10 and 12 points ahead of their biggest rivals Galatasaray and Fenerbahce, respectively.

The Turkish international midfielder has played in a central midfield role alongside Atiba Hutchinson this season.

Ozyakup has a total of three goals and four assists in all competitions this season and is expected to start for Besiktas against Olympiakos today in the Europa League.
