Turkish giants receive transfer boost as Man United ‘actively looking to sell’ winger Adnan Januzaj

Manchester United are ‘actively looking to sell’ Adnan Januzaj this window according to ESPN.

Per the source, the Belgium international has been deemed surplus to requirements and the Red Devils will listen to offers.

United have reportedly split up the first-team into three groups of players with Januzaj among the list that have been told they can leave.

The 22-year-old has had no shortage of interest with Galatasaray and Real Sociedad both keen on recruiting the winger.

Hurriyet recently reported that the Lions are plotting a move for Januzaj.

The winger would be eligible to play as a domestic player due to having part-Turkish heritage through his grandparents.

Sky Sports meanwhile reported last month that United received a £9.7 million bid from Real Sociedad.

Real Sociedad president, Jokin Aperribay, is however, aware that they are not the only club in talks with Januzaj: “It’s true that we are interested [in Januzaj] but we are not in talks with Manchester or with him.

“We are waiting for the decision of Manchester United and then we will act. There are more teams interested in him and his signing won’t be easy.”

Januzaj has just 12 months remaining on his contract and United are keen to cash in before losing him on a free transfer.

The United man struggled to settle in at Old Trafford and was loaned out to Sunderland last summer.

Januzaj could manage just 18 Premier League starts for Sunderland who ended up being relegated.
