Turkish giants hold talks with Chelsea over France international star – £6m price tag set

Chelsea are preparing to offload the France international striker Loic Remy this summer.

Remy spent the 2016-17 season on loan at Crystal Palace and has just 12 months remaining on his current contract with the Blues.

According to the Turkish outlet Fotomac, Trabzonspor are keen to add Remy to their ranks this summer. Per the source, Trabzonspor president Muharrem Usta has held talks with Chelsea.

The Blues have placed a £6 million price tag on the experience striker.

Trabzonspor will be celebrating their 50th anniversary next season and are keen to mark it with several marquee name signings.

Remy made the move to Chelsea from QPR back in 2014. However, Remy has made just 47 games for the Blues since his transfer.

The France international striker struggled to establish himself at Palace this season. Remy managed just eight appearances all season for the Eagles.

Trabzonspor are currently sixth in the Turkish Super League, two points behind fifth placed Antalyaspor.
