Galatasaray officials have put efforts to sign Jason Denayer on the accelerator following interest from Leeds and Celtic in the Belgium international.
Yesterday we reported that both Leeds and Celtic are interested in making a move for the 23-year-old this summer.
A source close to Galatasaray has revealed to Turkish-Football.com that club officials have subsequently intensified negotiations with City.
Per the source, the Lions feel that Denayer is keen on returning to Galatasaray however, they have been unable to strike a deal with the Citizens.
The Istanbul giants fear that they could end up losing out on Denayer unless a deal can be agreed in the near future.
Denayer played a key role in Galatasaray’s title success last season.

The Belgium international is likely to leave City this summer with John Stones, Vincent Kompany, Aymeric Laporte and Nicolas Otamendi already ahead of him in the pecking order.
Denayer has two years remaining on his contract with the Manchester-based club.
