Turkish Giants to hold fresh transfer talks with Man City for £9m Belgium international

Galatasaray are set to hold fresh transfer talks with Manchester City as they continue their efforts to sign Jason Denayer.

The Belgium international has been closely linked with a summer exit after failing to break into Pep Guardiola’s squad. Denayer spent last season on loan with Galatasaray where he established himself as a key name in Fatih Terim’s squad.

According to the Turkish outlet Takvim, Galatasaray will hold talks with Man City officials next week.

Per the source, Galatasaray want to sign Denayer on a 12-month loan deal.

However, City are eager to sell the 23-year-old this summer.

According to SporX, the Citizens are demanding £9 million for Denayer. This valuation would put Denayer out of Galatasaray’s reach.

The Lions are being closely monitored by UEFA for Financial Fair Play this summer.

Denayer has two-years remaining on his contract with Manchester City. The 23-year-old has made no secret of his desire to return to the Istanbul giants.
