Turkish League Previews 29: Can Galatasaray keep pace with the leading pack?
The Monday round of games sees Galatasaray take on Bursaspor while Konyaspor face Osmanlispor.

Both sides have been unpredictable of late and considering they are safe in mid-table there is very little to play for other than pride. As far as predictions go this is one best to avoid.

Galatasaray v Bursaspor
Galatasaray have been in free-fall recently. The Lions lost their last two league games and face the threat of losing pace with the leading pack and being overtaken by Trabzonspor. If the Istanbul giants were to lose 4th place to Trabzonspor it would have serious financial consequences. Whoever gets the 4th place spot will guarantee European football next season.
Galatasaray have been poor of late but luckily they are facing a Bursaspor side whose away form has dropped off a cliff. The Green Crocodiles have nothing to play for other than pride and to make matters worse they will be away from home.
The Lions simply have to raise their game and get a result. The threat of losing their fourth place spot has become a reality. It really is do or die time.
Prediction: Galatasaray win
