The Mediterranean based outfit are back in the race for Wilshere and want him on a permanent move.

The 26-year-old has just a year remaining on his contract and the Gunners have yet to offer an extension.

The article does claim that Arsenal value Wilshere as being worth €18 million but Antalyaspor want to negotiate a lower fee.

The experienced Arsenal midfielder would become the second player from the class of 92 side to join the Super Lig were he to complete the move.

Wilshere would join his former teammate Oguzhan Ozyakup.

Ozyakup and Wilshere were part of the Arsenal reserve side that won the 2009 Youth FA Cup.

The Turkish international left Arsenal in search of first team football in 2012 and went onto estalibsh himself as a star player.

Ozyakup has won back to back Turkish league titles and several clubs from across Europe and the Premier League have expressed an interest as a result.
