Turkish National Team Squad Named For Germany & Wales Games

The Turkey national football team squad for the upcoming matches against Germany and Wales has been announced.

The team will play a friendly match against Germany at the Berlin Olympic Stadium on November 21st, followed by their final European Championship qualifier against Wales.

Vincenzo Montella will take charge of his third game in charge of the national team.

The Italian manager has already guided Turkiye to book a place at Euro 2024 after beating Croatia 1-0 away from home and Latvia 4-1 at home.

The Turkish side will guarantee a first place finish if they avoid defeat against Wales when the two sides meet on Tuesday.

Montella will be without star midfielder Arda Guler against due to injury however, he otherwise has a strong squad to select from with in from star names Hakan Calhanoglu, Kenan Yildiz, Kerem Akturkoglu all available.

Defenders: Ferdi Kadıoğlu (Fenerbahçe), Zeki Çelik (Roma), Abdülkerim Bardakçı (Galatasaray), Cenk Özkacar (Valencia), Çağlar Söyüncü (Atletico Madrid), Kaan Ayhan (Galatasaray), Ozan Kabak (Hoffenheim), Samet Akaydın (Fenerbahçe), Eren Elmalı (Trabzonspor) and Rıdvan Yılmaz (Rangers)

Midfielders: Berat Özdemir (Trabzonspor), Berkan Kutlu (Genoa), Emre Akbaba (Yukatel Adana Demirspor), Hakan Çalhanoğlu (Inter), İsmail Yüksek (Fenerbahçe) and Salih Özcan (Borussia Dortmund) were selected in the midfield.
