Baris Yilmaz, the 24-year-old Galatasaray forward, has emerged as a transfer target for several top English clubs according to Turkish outlet Milliyet.
Yilmaz impressed last season, contributing directly to 13 goals in the Turkish league and – 19 in all competitions – helping his team win the championship for the second season running.
The powerful, fast forward was one of the star players for the Lions side last season and earned a place in the Turkish Euro 2024 side as a result.

He then played a key role for Turkey at Euro 2024, despite not registering any goals or assists. His performances, particularly against the Netherlands, caught the eye of Premier League scouts.
Turkey ended up losing the last-eight clash 2-1 to bow out of the competition.
Yilmaz was one of the stand out players for the Turkish national team which lit up Euro 2024 reaching the quarter-final stage of the tournament.
Liverpool are reportedly leading the chase for Yilmaz and could make a formal offer soon. Galatasaray are expected to demand at least £26 million, but his Euro displays could push that price higher.
Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur are also interested in Yilmaz. United see him as a potential attacking partner for Rasmus Hojlund, while Tottenham are looking to replace Harry Kane, who left last summer.
Yilmaz’s versatility across the frontline makes him a valuable option for any of these clubs. The coming days could see a bidding war for the Turkish international.
