Cenk Tosun – Everton

Tosun marked becoming a father for the first time by coming off the bench against Crystal Palace and scoring a terrific goal. He even did the classic ‘rock the cradle’ celebration. Marco Silva was heralded for his super subs. The Toffees boss brought on Ademola Lookman, Calvert-Lewin and Tosun. Lookman setup Lewin for the opener and Tosun doubled the home sides lead just minutes later. That is two goals in three games for the Turkey international. Perhaps it is time for him to start again?

Zeki Celik – Lille

Zeki Celik has been going from strength to strength at Lille. The 21-year-old full-back moved from the Turkish second-tier directly to the Ligue 1 in a move that flew completely under the radar. Celik has established himself as a first-choice star for the French giants and provided an assist over the weekend in the 2-1 away win over Dijon. Lille are currently second in the league just eight points behind PSG. Celik meanwhile has two assists and has started all 10 games this season.

Mesut Ozil – Arsenal

Captain Ozil was at his best against Leicester City. The playmaker of Turkish origin put on an outstanding dispaly, mesmerising the opposition with his vision, passing and creativity. The 30-year-old scored the opening goal with a delightful side-footed shot on the bounce. Ozil pulled the strings in the second goal and saved his best until last pulling off a back-heel volley, a clever dummy and a stunning first-touch pass to setup Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang forhis second goal.

Enes Unal – Vallodolid

Unal did not get his name on the scoresheet but boy did he get close. The Turkey international won a pretty impressive seven aerial balls. The Villarreal loanee has started to grow into the Valladolid side over recent weeks and the victory moved them into 6th place in the La Liga table.
