Mehmet Zeki Celik – Lille
Zeki Celik has been one of the signings of the season for Lille. The 21-year-old has gone from playing in the Turkish second-tier to a first team starter for the Ligue 1 side. The Turkey international links up well with the in-form Nicolas Pepe providing him defensive cover and contributing to attacking moves. Lille turned down a £9m move from Cardiff City in January. They are likely to attract several more offers this summer.
Merih Demiral – Sassuolo
The man mountain pulled off one of the tackles of the week. Just watch this.
The 21-year-old made the highest number of tackles in the team (3), he made more clearances than any other player (4). He is really starting to find his feet in the Serie A. The 1.92m tall centre-back is criminally underrated but not for much longer.

Mesut Ozil – Arsenal
Unai Emery started Ozil, Lacazette, Aubameyang and Ramsey. Low and behold the Gunners went onto beat Manchester United 2-0. It just goes to show what can be achieved when the Spanish manager picks his best players. Ozil has been in impressive form for the Gunners since breaking back into the team. The playmaker of Turkish origin worked hard. Yes, worked hard! not something critics like to admit about the 30-year-old.
Hakan Calhanoglu – AC Milan
AC Milan beat Chievo 2-1 away to extend their winning streak to four games. The Italian giants are currently 3rd in the Serie A table. Calhanoglu came on as a 54th-minute substitute. Just three minutes after his introduction Krzysztof Piatek scored the winning goal. Coincidence? I think not!

Okay Yokuslu – Celta Vigo
Yokuslu won his second Player of the Month award this season yesterday but despite his impressive performances for Celta Vigo they now find themselves in the relegation zone. Celta were beaten 1-0 at home by Real Betis and have now lost four of their last five league games – drawing the remaining match. Just one point separates 18th placed Celta with Valladolid who are 16th so there is still all to play for.
Okay Yokuşlu was awarded Celta Vigo ‘Player of the month’ for February ???
Okay also won the award in December
Keep a close eye on Okay Ok! ?

Ilkay Gundogan – Manchester City
Gundogan started in the 3-1 victory over Watford and put on the kind of display we have come to expect from the midfielder of Turkish origin. The 27-year-old helped keep possession with an incredible 129 passes at 92 percent accuracy. Gundogan created four goalscoring chances
