After an eventful summer Turks Abroad is back. The bearded winger Arda Turan was involved in a dramatic transfer saga which span between England and Spain. The bearded winger looked destined for a Premier League move before Barcelona – who are still serving a transfer ban – entered the fray and snapped him up for £24 million. Elsewhere Bursaspor wonder-kid Enes Ünal was signed on a a £2 million move by Manchester City while 19-year-old and Napoli midfielder of Turkish origin Gökhan İnler is expected to join Leicester City.

Mesut Özil bounced back from a difficult afternoon last week with a phenomenal performance against Crystal Palace. The 26-year-old provided an assist and maintained a passing accuracy of 98% during his sides 2-1 victory.
