Mesut Özil made his 65th appearance for the Germany national team last night when Germany hosted USA in an international friendly.
The Arsenal playmaker came close to putting his side ahead in the 6th minute of the game but was denied by Brad Guzan.
Germany took the lead then Mario Gotze slotted the ball past Brad Guzan into the back of the net. Mikkel Diskerud equalised for the USA when he controlled Michael Bradley’s fine pass and volleyed past Zieler.
