Manchester City star playmaker Ilkay Gundogan has taken to social media to reminisce about the day he joined the City Blues.
The 27-year-old completed his move to City two years ago on June 1 2016. Gundogan posted several photos of himself at the Manchester-based club on Instagram and included the following caption, “On this day 2016 I joined Man City. Two years full of amazing experiences. Thank you for your incredible support. Looking forward to my 3rd year in Manchester, but for now I’m still on a mission with the Germany national team.”

Gundogan played a key role in Pep Guardiola’s title-winning side this season. The 27-year-old provided seven assists and scored six goals in 49 appearances for the Citizens.
The former Borussia Dortmund man is currently on international duty with the Germany national team.
