Udinese have made a €6m offer for Besiktas midfielder Dorukhan Tokoz according to his agent Necdet Ergezen.

There were reports in the Turkish and Italian press that Udinese have reached an agreement with Besiktas over a €10m move for Tokoz.

Ergezen revealed that Besiktas have not actually received a €10m offer for Tokoz.

“The report claiming a €10m deal has been reached is a lie,” Ergezen told Ortacizgi.

“Udinese made a €6m offer with €2m in bonuses.

“We have not progressed past that yet. Besiktas will not accept the current offer and Udinese will have to offer more.

“Talks are still ongoing but Udinese have to increase their bid.”

Besiktas are under no pressure to sell Tokoz below their valuation as he has another two-years on his contract and is happy at the club.

Tokoz enjoyed a meteoric rise over the course of last season.

Besiktas signed Tokoz for just €150,000 from Eskisehirspor last season and he went onto become a star name for the Istanbul based outfit.

The 23-year-old scored three goals and provided three assists in 20 league games for the Black Eagles and ended up becoming a first-team star in the Turkey national team setup as well.

Tokoz starred in the 2-0 victory over world champions France in the Euro 2020 Group H qualifier last month.
