‘United had one shot on target’ – Liverpool star takes dig at Man United defensive approach
Liverpool star Emre Can has claimed that his teammates did enough to win the Premier League clash against Manchester United over the weekend.
The Reds were held to a goalless draw against United at Anfield.
Can also took a cheeky dig at the Red Devils defensive approach and underlined that they took just one shot on target.
The midfielder of Turkish origin felt the Reds dominated the game and deserved more than a points.

Can is quoted by SFR Sport as saying: “We have to win that game because we dominated for 90 minutes. I think we had good chances and United had one shot on target with [Romelu] Lukaku.”
Can feels that Liverpool will head into Tuesday’s Champions League clash against Maribor in high spirits but made it clear that they must win.
“It’s the same story like before the international break but we have to go again on Tuesday because I think it’s just a small, small step and then we will come in the right direction again,” he added.
“It’s too early [to make judgements], nothing is over yet and we have to believe in ourselves. We have to win the next game.”
Liverpool are currently second in Group E with two points after two games.
Klopp’s side are unbeaten in the last six Champions League games but now have a double header against – on paper – the weakest team in the group.
Liverpool have not however, won an away game in Europe in their last eight games.
The Reds could really do with a win but Jurgen Klopp may decide to rotate some players ahead of the Premier League clash against Tottenham next weekend.
