Villarreal defender Victor Ruiz is set to complete his transfer from Villarreal to Besiktas after agreeing to a three-year deal according to Fanatik.
Per the source, the Black Eagles will sign Ruiz on a permanent transfer.
The Spanish defender is expected to travel to Turkey tomorrow where he will undergo a medical ahead of completing his move to the Super Lig outfit.
The 30-year-old defender was an Espanyol youth rising through the ranks to the first-team.
Napoli signed him for €8.5m in 2011 but he returned to Spain the same year after failing to settle in.
Valencia snapped him up for €8m where he spent three seasons before being loaned to Villarreal in 2014.
Villarreal ended up signing him from Valencia on a permanent transfer the following summer.

Ruiz made 33 appearances in all competitions for Villarreal last season.
Besiktas have made signing a defender a priority over the transfer window after struggling at the back last term.
The Black Eagles finished last season in 3rd place conceding 10 more goals than the champions Galatasaray.
