Video: 14-goal Man City wonder-kid reveals what he wants by the end of the season
Manchester City wonder-kid Enes Unal has hit the ground running on loan at FC Twente scoring 14 goals in all competitions.
Unal has a total of 14 goals and three assists. The 19-year-old is the highest scoring Turkish international player in Eredivisie history with 13 league goals.
The young forward has already achieved a lot this season but he is not content.
Unal revealed in a recent interview on the Manchester City website that he aims to finish the season as the leagues top goal scorer and ensure that Twente end the season in the top five.
“I want to finish the season in the top five and as top goal scorer,” Unal said.
“It won’t be easy, every team is wants to win and the defenders are tough.”
Unal is currently joint third top scorer alongside Kasper Dolberg of Ajax and Samuel Armenteros of Heracles. Reza Ghoochannejhad is second with 15 goals and Nicolai Jorgensen of Feyenoord is first with 19 goals.
