Turkish league champions Besiktas lost to Istanbul rivals Galatasaray on penalties in the Super Cup on Sunday.
The game finished 1-1 in regulation time after goals from Galatasaray captain Hakan Balta and an own goal from Chedjou.
The penalty shoot-out was a disastrous affair for Besiktas as all three of their spot kick takers missed.
Besiktas star Oguzhan Ozyakup missed his sides first penalty, followed by Cenk Tosun and Atiba Hutchinson to give the Lions a straight forward victory after scoring all three of their spot kick efforts.

Manchester United are reported to be keeping close tabs on Ozyakup according to the Daily Star. The report are willing to offer £20 million for his services after scouting the midfielder over the past 12 months.
Other than his penalty miss the former Arsenal man actually had a pretty impressive display pulling the strings in midfield – in fact the Gunners are also reported to be interested in the 23-year-old.
Ozyakup is expected to stay at Besiktas for another 12 months but could be off to United next season. Besiktas president Fikret Orman did not too long ago state that if Ozyakup were to leave he would not mind it being to United.
“When Ozyakup leaves Besiktas it will be for Manchester United, Barcelona or Real Madrid. A club of that calibre,” Orman was quoted as saying by Turkish-football.com.
