(Video) Arsenal star Mesut Ozil breaks his own assists record against West Brom

Mesut Özil broke the assist record he created against West Brom at the Hawthorns when he setup Olivier Giroud with the Gunners first goal of the game.

The 27-year-old setup the French international with from a set piece on 28 minutes for the opening goal.

Özil has now provided an assist in seven consecutive games which is a Premier League record.

The World Cup winner has a total of 11 assists in 12 games for the Gunners now which is the highest in Europe’s top five leagues including England, Spain, France, Italy and Germany.

Arsenal went into the half-time break losing 2-1 against West Brom. The Gunners will be hoping to turn things round in the second half and maintain their spot at the top of the table.
