Beşiktaş beat Çaykur Rizespor 1-0 at their temporary home of the Başakşehir Fatih Terim stadium to move back into first place in the Turkish Super League.
Ricardo Quaresma scored the only goal of the game on 63 minutes to put the Black Eagles ahead.
The Portuguese international now has two goals in all competitions this season since joining from FC Porto.
Mario Gomez setup Oğuzhan Özyakup soon after but the goal was disallowed due to being ruled offside. The Germany international could have had another assist in the last few minutes but Quaresma’s shot was saved off the line.
The Eagles moved two points clear of Galatasaray and Fenerbahçe following the victory and take on Antalyaspor next week.
