Liverpool beat Crystal Palace 4-2 at Selhurst Park to remain in third place in the Premier League – separated from first placed Manchester City and second placed Arsenal on goal difference.
Germany international of Turkish origin Emre Can started against the Eagles and got his name on the scoresheet, finding the back of the net for the first time in eight months in the process.
Can opened the scoring, wrapping up a brilliant attacking move from the away side on 16 minutes.
