Fenerbahçe blew a two goal lead at the Şükrü Saracoğlu stadium to draw 2-2 against Akhisar.
In-form striker Fernandao gave the Yellow Canaries the lead on 11 minutes when he converted Alper Potuk’s cross.
Fernandao got his brace on 37 minutes thanks to a brilliant assist from Nani who won the ball from the opposition inside his own half before sprinting 70 metres into the penalty area and providing a low, accurate cross for the Brazilian striker.
The former Manchester United winger now has four goals and four assists in all competitions this season while Fernandao has increased his tally to seven.
Fenerbahçe looked in cruise control until Güray Vural pulled one back on 56 minutes for Akhisar from a set-piece.
The Yellow Canaries have now conceded three goals in their last two league games from set-pieces.
Akhisar meanwhile have scored eight goals this season and seven as a result of set-pieces.
The Akigolar equalised just 12 minutes later when Douglas converted from the penalty spot.
Fenerbahçe started the week in second place on goal difference but go into the international break in third place – three points behind leaders Beşiktaş.
