Fenerbahce beat Kasimpasa 3-1 in the mini Istanbul derby at the Sukru Saracoglu stadium tonight to move five points clear of second placed Besiktas.

Diego Ribas gave Fenerbahce an early lead and Robin van Persie doubled the Yellow Canaries lead just a minute before half-time from the penalty spot.

Kasimpasa defender Titi was sent off in the incident that resulted in the penalty and Alper Potuk sealed all three points for the home side with the goal of the evening in the second half.

Malki scored a consolation goal for Kasimpasa late on but it proved to be too little too late.
