Turkey beat Moldova 3-1 at the Eskisehir stadium in an international friendly on Monday 27 March thanks to goals from Emre Mor, Cengiz Under and Ahmet Calik.

Nineteen-year-old Under scored his first international goal and he did it in style with a powerful long range effort.

Turkish national team manager Fatih Terim fielded a youthful side with an average age of 23.

Manchester City wonder-kid Enes Unal, Borussia Dortmund winger Emre Mor and Under were the three youngest players on the field, all aged 19.

Several scouts from clubs across Europe kept tabs on the game and a source close to the player revealed to Turkish-Football that Liverpool have been keeping tabs on the youngster.

The source also revealed that Under has received interest from a number of Bundesliga sides who have been tracking his progress.

Under was signed by Basaksehir from the highest acclaimed Altinordu academy over the summer transfer window and has turned out to be one of the bargains of the season.

The 19-year-old has become a key player for Basaksehir who are currently second in the league against all the odds, just two points behind leaders Besiktas.

Under has a total of five goals and five assists in all competitions for the Istanbul minnows this season.
