Manchester City wonder-kid was already a youth sensation before the Premier League giants snapped him up on a £2 million move in 2015.

Unal became the youngest ever goal scorer in the Turkish league when he netted for Bursaspor against Galatasaray in 2013 aged just 16.

Unal has hit the ground running on loan at FC Twente and broke another record this season becoming the highest scoring Turkish international player in Eredivisie history.

The 19-year-old now has 13 league goals – 14 in all competitions.

Unal revealed in an interview with Manchester City that he has improved aspects of his game at FC Twente but underlined that the biggest difference has been the expectations placed on him.

The young striker felt that he was under a lot of pressure at Galatasaray whereas he is able to relax more in the Netherlands and focus on his football rather than the contact media spotlight.
“I have improved tactically, physically, I am more relaxed,” Unal said.

“In Turkey I had too much pressure so now I don’t have to worry about that as much, I have a clear mind and can focus on my job.”
