Manchester City wonder-kid Enes Unal scored his 12th goal of the season for FC Twente who he joined on loan at the start of the season in the Eredivisie clash against Den Haag on Friday 24 February.

Unal ended a six game scoring drought in style with a powerful shot from outside the penalty area giving the opposition goalkeeper no chance.

The Turkish international striker now has 11 goals in the Eredivisie and 12 in all competitions.

Unal has equalled Colin Kazim-Richards record as the highest scoring Turkish international player in the Dutch top-tier in the process.

Kazim-Richards scored 11 Eredivisie goals for Feyenoord back in the 2015-16 season.

Unal will become the highest scoring Turkish player in top-tier Dutch league history if he finds the back of the net again before the end of the 2016-17 campaign.

The young striker will need to net 13 times in order to equal Kazim-Richard’s record for goals in all competitions in a single season for a Dutch side.

The Turkish international has also provided three assists in the league for FC Twente this season.

The young striker has a history of breaking records. Unal become the youngest player to ever score in the Turkish League when he netted against Galatasaray aged 16.

The forward made a name for himself scoring 182 goals in 110 appearances for Bursaspor’s reserves.

Unal also has an impressive international record having netted 24 times in 25 international games at under-16 level before being fast-tracked into senior national side.

City snapped Unal from Bursaspor aged 18 on a £2 million move but has been unable to play in England due to failing to get his work permit.
