Trabzonspor suffered a shock defeat against Mersin in the Turkish Super League to extend their losing streak to four consecutive games.
Mersin ended up winning their first game of the season and moving off the bottom of the table for the first time this season.
The Black Sea Storm meanwhile dropped into 11th place and considering they were considered among the title favourites as well as the fact that managers in the league last on average seven months the writing could be on the wall for head coach Shota Arveladze.
Nakoulma scored a brace inside the opening 45 minutes and Vederson extended Merin’s lead further with a wonder goal shortly after the half time break.
Oscar Cardozo and M’bia scored late on for Trabzonspor but it ended up being too little too late.
On loan Chelsea winger Marko Marin started for Trabzonspor but was unable to make his mark on the game despite playing the full 90 minutes.
