Vinnie Jones tells Arsenal Star to ‘go and build motorways’

Former Chelsea midfielder Vinnie Jones has slammed Arsenal playmaker Mesut Ozil.

Ozil missed Arsenal’s clash with West Ham United due to an illness, however, reports have emerged stating that the 29-year-old has a training ground bust-up with manager Unai Emery.

The Gunners went on to register a 3-1 victory over their London rivals on Saturday.

While talking to TalkSport, Vinnie Jones questioned Ozil’s commitment to the cause and gave the former Germany international some intriguing advice.

“If you’re not enjoying it, go and build motorways or something,” Jones told TalkSport radio.

“Go into hospitals and cook dinner for people.

“Go and do something you can be proud of if you’re not happy being in the limelight and having the most fantastic job in the world.

“[When I played] it was your lifelong dream, it was the privilege, it was the buzz of the crowd.

“I played right-wing, I played centre-forward, I played centre-back, I played in goal and I was on £150-a-week.

“If it definitely is that he’s not playing because he’s not happy with the position he’s playing, then he needs sorting out properly.”
