Kasimpasa defender Kenneth Omeruo gave a shout out to his Nigeria international teammate Henry Onyekuru after he won the Promising Player of the Year in Belgium.
Omeruo shared a short clip of Onyekuru winning the award and giving a speech while wearing an Everton shirt.
The defender described the Everton man as being ‘super talented’ in his caption: “Congrats my bro the super talented @c.henry21 this is just the beginning of God’s work in your life… come back soon bro..”
Onyekuru scored 22 goals representing two clubs, as well as sealing his move to Everton last term.
The 20-year-old joined the Toffees on a £7 million move from Anderlecht before being loaned back,
The striker had 10 goals for the Belgium giants before suffering a serious knee injury. Onyekuru is back at Everton continuing his rehabilitation at Finch Farm.
