Watch: Did Liverpool star Emre Can deserve a red card against Arsenal?
Liverpool recorded a 3-1 victory over Liverpool in the Premier League yesterday afternoon.
The Red’s moved up into third place in the table following goals from Roberto Firmino, Sadio Mane and Georginio Wijnaldum.
However, there was a controversial incident which may have changed the outcome of the game.
Emre Can – who was yellow carded for a trip on Alexis Sanchez earlier in the game – brought down Walcott with a wild challenge.

Fortunately for the Germany international, Joel Matip came in with a challenge on Walcott at the same time. Referee Bobby Madley awarded Arsenal a free-kick however, Can escaped further punishment.
The incident came at a crucial time within the game, with Arsenal pushing for an equaliser in the final ten minutes.
In our view, Can should have seen red, the former Bayer Leverkusen man lunged in, took Walcott out and completely missed the ball.
