Watch: Emre Can scores nears Liverpool scoring record after netting against Brighton
Liverpool crushed Brighton 5-1 in the Premier League at the Amex Stadium on Saturday.
Emre Can started against Brighton but not in his customary midfield role.
Instead the midfielder of Turkish origin was deployed as a centre-back.
That did not prevent the 23-year-old from finding the back of the net. Can scored from a header taking his season tally to four.
Now that is how you score a header. If anyone can it's Emre Can. pic.twitter.com/pK3YzGUdUA

Can now has four goals and two assists in all competitions this campaign.
The Germany international will match his Liverpool scoring record of five goals in one season if he finds the back of the net again.
Can will break his Liverpool record if he scores two more goals this campaign.
