Watch: Jurgen Klopp reveals Liverpool pre-season plans which include Sydney FC

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has taken to social media to reveal Liverpool’s pre-season plans.

The German tactician uploaded a clip to Liverpool’s official Instagram page. Klopp stated that Liverpool will face Sydney FC in a pre-season friendly.

Sydney FC are currently at the top of the Australian A-League with 63 points after 26 games.

It remains to be seen whether Emre Can will be with Liverpool for the trip. The 23-year-old will have just 12 months left on his contract this summer.

Liverpool may be forced into offloading Can if they are unable to agree a new deal.

Can missed pre-season last summer after participating in Euro 2016 with the Germany national team. The former Leverkusen star subsequently struggled with injuries during the first half of the season.
