Fenerbahce returned to winning ways with a 2-0 victory over Trvana at the Sukru Saracoglu Stadium on Match Day 2 in the Europa League last night.

Leicester City loanee Islam Slimani was the star of the show scoring a brace.

The Algeria international’s second goal was bizarre.

Michael Frey’s cross missed Slimani and looked to have gone out of play but Andre Ayew managed to catch the ball and put the ball back in the box for his teammate to be finish.

Slimani managed to react in time and head home the decisive goal.

Slimani now has three goals and eight assists in all competitions this season for the Istanbul giants.

Fenerbahce moved into second place in Group D following the victory.
