Liverpool loanee Loris Karius won his first game as a Besiktas player in his first home match for his new club.
The Black Eagles beat Malatyaspor 2-1 at the Vodafone Park Stadium on Saturday to close the gap with league leaders Galatasaray to two points.
Karius started in goal for the Black-Whites and was widely praised by fans and football pundits for his performance.
The German keeper celebrated with a night out at the Nusr-et Steakhouse, founded by celebrity chef Nusret Gokce, better known as Salt Bae.
Salt Bae personally fed a piece of meat from his knife into Karius’ mouth.
Karius joined Besiktas on a two-year loan and is currently first choice keeper for the Istanbul giants.
The Black Eagles take on Sarpsborg next in the Europa League on Thursday in what will be Karius’ first European competition game since the Champions League final for Liverpool.
