Emre Can has come under fire from sections of the Reds fanbase and pundits for a dip in form over recent weeks but silenced his doubters with a brilliant display.
The midfielder of Turkish origin scored a stunning opening goal with a powerful shot from outside the area.

Can has now scored five goals and provided three assists in all competitions this season.
The 24-year-old has equaled last seasons total goal tally and still has almost half a campaign left to play.
The Germany international also won his side the penalty for the third goal.
The victory closed the gap with second-placed Manchester United to just three points – although the Red Devils could move six clear with a win against 5th placed Tottenham.
