Turkish sports newspaper Fotomac reported that Liverpool have rekindled interest in the Talisca following Coutinho’s £142 million move to Barcelona.
Per the source, the 23-year-old has been on the Reds shortlist for years and that club scouts have been impressed with his form this season especially in Europe.
Talisca has also been in great form in the Champions League.
The Brazilian is the join top scorer for the Istanbul giants in the competition scoring four times in the group stages – equaling Cenk Tosun who joined Everton in January.
Besiktas ended up becoming the first Turkish side to qualify from the group stage as leaders.
Talisca is currently mid-way through his second loan spell at Besiktas from Benfica.
The powerful midfielder has also been targeted by Chinese clubs offering a big money move.
The Besiktas ace has rejected all approaches from Chinese side as he wants to continue with his career in Europe.
Talisca has helped Besiktas to the league title over the past two seasons.
