Watch: Man City still have buy-back clause for Enes Unal despite scoring on Levante debut
Enes Unal scored on his Levante debut in the 2-1 defeat to Girona last week.
Manchester City fans will be familiar with Unal from his time spent at the club but may be surprised to discover he is now playing for Levante after joining Villarreal.
City sold Unal to Villarreal over the summer in a deal which included a buy back clause.
The Turkish international is currently at Levante but on a temporary loan.
The La Liga allows for emergency loans to be drafted in mid season to replace an injured player.
Unal was brought in as a replacement striker, with assurances of first team football.
Under the terms of the agreement, Levante must play Unal at least 70 minutes each game he is available or face a $50,000 fine.
The 20-year-old found playing time difficult to come by at Villarreal due to Cedric Bakambu being in red hot form scoring eight times in 10 league games.
Unal is expected to return to Villarreal at the end of the year.
