Besiktas beat Genclerbirligi 1-0 at the Vodafone Park Stadium on Saturday to temporarily join Galatasaray and Basaksehir on 50 points at the top of the Super Lig table.
Basaksehir ended up losing 4-1 this week so they remained level with Besiktas but Galatasaray beat Konyaspor 2-1 to move three points clear at the top.
Tolgay Arslan played a key role in Besiktas breaking the deadlock against Genclerbirligi, as he thread the ball through the eye of the needle, splitting open the visitors defence, allowing Anderson Talisca to score.

Arslan has received interest from the Premier League this season after displaying impressive form for the reigning Super Lig champions.
Turkish-Football reported that Newcastle United have made an enquiry for the star midfielder and that Chelsea have been scouting him.
