Mesut Ozil started his first game of the pre-season for Arsenal against PSG in the International Champions Cup.
Gunners boss Unai Emery gave Ozil the captains armband heading into the game and the playmaker of Turkish origin repaid him with the opening goal.
The Gunners did end up winning the game 5-1.
What caught my eye apart from the goal and Arsenal playing rather well was the referee asking for Ozil’s signature before the game.
The 29-year-old signed the match officials yellow card.
