Leicester City completed the signing of Caglar Soyuncu on a £19m move from Freiburg on transfer deadline day last week.

The Turkey international signed a five-year deal – subject to getting his work permit.

A source close to the player revealed to Turkish-Football that Soyuncu will get permission to play in the UK and that a formal announcement will be made shortly.

In the meantime thousands of Freiburg fans gave the 22-year-old a final farewell at the stadium.

Soyuncu is not expected to make his debut for the Foxes until another fortnight. He only recently recovered from injury, needs to get back to full match fitness and settle in.

The young defender could make his debut against Liverpool.
