Watford FC star defender could join Martin Skrtel at Turkish giants
Watford FC star defender Sebastian Prodl has been linked with a move to the Turkish Super Lig giants Fenerbahce.
The Yellow Canaries are on the hunt for a new centre-back following a disappointing 2-2 draw with Goztepe in the league.
Fenerbahce sold Simon Kjear to Sevilla earlier this summer are are yet to replace him.
According to Fotomac, Martin Skrtel’s agent has offered Prodl to Fenerbahce.
Prodl was an unused substitute for Watford during their 3-3 draw with Liverpool. Manager Marco Silva opted to field Younes Kaboul alongside Miguel Britos instead.
The Austria international scored two goals and provided one assist in 34 appearances for Watford last season. The 30-year-old has previously played for Werder Bremen and Sturm Graz.

Fotomac go onto state that Fenerbahce have also been linked with a move for AC Milan’s out-of-favour defender Gustavo Gomez
Watford take on Bournemouth in the Premier League this weekend. Fenerbahce meanwhile face FK Vardar in the UEFA Europa League playoff on Thursday.
