Watford Make Offer For Uruguay International Goalkeeper Currently At World Cup

Watford have made an offer for Uruguay international goalkeeper Fernando Muslera according to Fotomac.

Per the source, the Premier League outfit want the Galatasaray keeper ahead of the 2018-19 season.

The Lions are not keen on selling their star man have rejected the bid.

The Istanbul giants want to keep Muslera at the club over the summer and he is under contract until 2021.

The 32-year-old keeper is currently in Russia, in goal for Uruguay at the 2018 World Cup.

Muslera kept a clean sheet in Uruguay’s opener against Egypt which the South American nation won by a 1-0 scoreline.

The experienced keeper has 98 international caps for Uruguay and was part of the side that won the 2011 Copa America and finished the 2010 World Cup in fourth place.

Galatasaray won the league title this season for the 21st time, Muslera lifted his fourth championship at the club.

In total Muslera has won 11 trophies during his time at the Istanbul giants.
