Bruma’s agent Catia Balde meanwhile claims that while Galatasaray do want to sign a new deal they have ulterior motives.

The Portuguese winger will have just 12 months remaining on his contract at the end of the season but has yet to sign an extension.

Balde revealed that Galatasaray would still sell Bruma even if he were to sign a new deal but that they would get receive the transfer fee that matches their £21 million valuation.

“Galatasaray want to renew the contract to then let him leave. They offer four years of contract, but want to include a €25m [approx. £21m] release clause. That’s where we disagree,” Balde was quoted as saying by Turkish outlet Fotospor.

Fotomac meanwhile reported that Manchester United and Tottenham have sent club officials to hold talks with Bruma’s representatives in Turkey over a summer transfer.

Turkish-Football have reported United interest in Bruma over the course of the season but Bruma’s representative in Turkey Ibrahim Polat did recently reveal that talks with Spurs had stalled.

“Spurs is not happening, we are not in talks,” Polat told Eren Sarigul of Turkish-Football writing for ESPN.

Polat did however, confirm that Southampton and Leicester City have been in talks over the winger.

“Southampton and Leicester City have registered an interest and we have held talks,” he added.

“Bruma is keen on the Premier League and we will be holding further talks next month.
