‘We cannot afford him’ – Man United given transfer boost in pursuit of Inter Milan winger after Euro giants boss pull out of race

Galatasaray manager Igor Tudor has confirmed interest in Inter Milan duo Ivan Perisic and Marcelo Brozovic.

Tudor revealed that he would like to work with both Croatian players but that they are out of the Lions price range.

As a result the Istanbul giants will have to pull out of the race to sign the star duo.

In an interview with Croatian outlet Jutarnji, Tudor stated: “Although I would very much like Brozovic and Perisic, the Croatians are very expensive and we can not afford then so cannot pursue them further.”

Tudor does not currently have any Croatian players at Galatasaray.

The comments will serve as a boost for Manchester United who will have one less club to worry about rivalling their move for Perisic.

The Independent report that Inter want United to spend £50m for Perisic, but the Red Devils valuation is believed to be £15m lower.

Per the source, the Serie A find themselves under pressure as they need to pay up £26m before the end of June to comply with Financial Fair Play regulations.

The hard working winger still has another three-years remaining on his contract.

Perisic scored 11 times and provided 12 assists in 42 appearances for Inter in all competitions last season.
