‘We Trust Him’, ‘Waiting Clean Sheet’ – Fans Respond To Liverpool Keeper Loris Karius Display As Besiktas Bounce Back

Besiktas bounced back from a three game winless run with a convincing 4-1 victory against Ankaragucu on the road.

The victory was just their second in the league away from home this season.

Liverpool loanee Loris Karius returned to goal after recovering from a back spasm.

Despite reports claiming he had been dropped for the past two games Karius was actually injured.

The 25-year-old put on an impressive performance in goal making several important stops.

Karius responded to the 4-1 victory with the following tweet and as with everything he posts online it got quite a reaction.

Besiktas fans seemed pleased with Karius’ display. The icing on the cake would have been a clean sheet as the keeper has managed just one of them so far in 12 tries. Despite this he did make important saves and this was reflected in the majority of the comments.

There were also a few Liverpool fans pleased with his latest performance.
